Danielle Smith to run in Brooks- Medicine Hat byelection, says she wants rural Albertans to feel res


I guess here we are starting another campaign just after the other one ended Premier designate Danielle Smith has announced that she will be running to represent the Brooks Medicine Hat writing outgoing MLA for that area Michaela Frey says this is an opportunity for Rural albertans to be heard we need somebody who understands.

That rural Alberta needs to be treated fairly we need someone who understands that Alberta needs a strong place in Confederation without a strong Alberta there is no strong Canada Smith saying Royal albertans didn’t feel like they had a strong voice over the past few years and with her running there she hopes to make their voices feel.

Respected and ideas made prominent the interesting part about a writing that is as diverse as this is that there are many other rural writings that show the same issues so if we can solve some of the issues here I think we’ll be able to solve them for for all the municipalities so I feel very confident that I’ll be able to represent this.

Riding well Smith has met with Municipal officials in the area and says some of their largest concerns are the twinning of Highway 3 and addressing the mental health and addictions crisis in rural areas in Calgary Jillian code city news
